Max began his academic journey with a B.Sc. in Life Science from the Leibniz University of Hannover, where his bachelor’s thesis focused on fungal secondary metabolites. He is currently pursuing his M.Sc. in Biomedicine at Hannover Medical School (MHH). His master’s research centers on characterizing the epitranscriptome of Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2 (HSV-2) strain 333. Outside the lab, Max enjoys playing tennis, going to the gym, learning new things, and spending time outdoors exploring new activities and places.
