Marius obtained his BSc in Molecular Medicine from the University Medical Center of Göttingen and is currently enrolled in the MSc Biomedicine program at Hannover Medical School. Right now, he is working on his Master’s thesis, looking at how viral infections can affect termination of transcription and open chromatin regions on the cellular genome using both experimental and computational methods. Outside the lab, he enjoys watching movies (both good and bad), playing squash and playing strategy games.
